Decked up in casuals with a chocolate in his hand, he opened the cafe's door. Scanning the entire cafe, he caught sight of a beautiful girl wearing a red kurti sitting alone on a table, probably waiting for somebody because she was repeatedly looking at her watch. While walking towards her, she looks up and their eyes met and then… time paused.
This wasn’t the exact scenario with Arnab and Paromita. However, they weren’t too far from it either. When I ask them if they were anxious at all to meet for the first time, Arnab says, “We had been speaking on the phone for ten days before we met.
So I wasn’t really tensed. Moreover, both of us are extroverts and thus, it became really easy to break the ice.” Paromita’s story was slightly different from his. “I was in love with him even before we met,” she giggles and adds, “and so, I was very much excited to meet him.”
First meeting always remain the best day for every couple and so was the scenario with this beautiful couple. Not only their first meet but their wedding day was equally memorable. Having had an authentic Bengali wedding, Arnab recalls how their married life begun with a pinch of excitement, “On the next night post our wedding, we weren’t supposed to meet each other. But we wanted to talk so badly that we began passing chits with messages.” This seemed as an interesting as a scene from a Hindi film.
Describing the ecstasy of being married, Arnab says, “She is all I could ask for. I can only say that she is much more precious than diamond for me.” He laughs and adds that she has brought delicious food into his life.
Arnab and Paromita, the contemporary working couple, and therefore I ask the lady how do they take out time for each other from their busy schedules and she says, “Last year, I got a job in the same building where my husband works. So now we get to spend enough time with each other out of home as well.” It’s definitely #couplegoals I say!
We wish them a happy and blissful married life
