Find out how KeralaMatrimony connected the Coonoor based businessman Arun with his wife, Gayathri.
Arun gets to talking with me about his wedding ceremony. He sounds as if he has gone back to his wedding ceremony and starts narrating, “We had a grand ceremony. It went on for three days starting with a pre-engagement ceremony, then a traditional Tamil wedding at her hometown and a reception, not so traditional but more like a contemporary celebration in Coonoor.”
I ask him if he can remember any special moment from his wedding and he tells me, “The post wedding photo shoot.” What about it? “We had too much fun during our shoot.”
I speak to both of them at different times but they give the exact same answer when I ask them if marriage has brought any changes in their lives. “There is no much difference at all post marriage. It is just the way it has to be, very normal.” You call it coordination or telepathy!
Gayathri, a pretty, simple and soft spoken person that she is, speaks up about the special memory that will be etched forever in their memory book, a trip to Goa. “We had been to Goa and we thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility of the beaches.”
Arun seems to be a very busy man and that’s when I ask him how they spend time considering his busy schedule. He says, “Since I am into business, I have the option of working from home. So initially, post our marriage, I worked from home so that we could spend as much time together.” To this, Gayathri adds, “Whenever he is free, we go out for evening walks and spend as much time as possible.”
The birthday surprise
I ask Gayathri if she had ever been surprised, she pauses for a while and just tells, “Yes! He gave me a photo frame and a cake.” I could comprehend that Gayathri is very shy from the conversation I had with her. But I ask Arun to enlighten the surprise he gave his wife and he tells me, “Her parents had come to Coonoor and we had a day out. Since we had a summer festival then, we had a really nice time.”
He adds on to this and says, “We had a little cake cutting celebration and I also gave her a photo frame with her photos.” I inquisitively ask him if she had ever planned a surprise for him and he laughs, “Well.. My birthday is yet to come and I am looking forward to what surprise she has in stock for me.”
We wish them a lifetime of happiness!
