would want to share with us, to which she responds, "On the day of our engagement, since the ring I bought for him was small, Abhishek had to wear it in the little finger. Luckily he had another ring, and so I slipped that one into his ring finger. He wears both the rings even now." Cute! Abhishek had something more to add, "When she slipped in the second ring, she went down on her knee and proposed to me. I was so surprised she did that for me." Aww!

When I ask about their wedding, both had some cute memories to share with me. The handsome Abhishek says, "During our varmala, my friends picked me up and Leena's brother was no lesser. Leena looked at me and while I was lost in her beauty she put the varmala on me." That’s cute! While talking to Leena, I felt she is an emotional kind of person and so I ask her about her vidaai. She goes down her memory lane and says, "During my vidaai, there is a ritual where the girl throws rice flakes and along with it, the vidai songs were being played. I was crying so much that I have to leave everything behind. Looking at me, my mother-in-law too burst into tears. I felt nice that she already cared for me so much. That is definitely something I will never forget."

After knowing quite a bit about them, I was curious to find out how they met. Leena recalls the day they met. She says, "We met in Pune. I still remember we spoke for almost 5 hours and realized that he was way more than my expectations. His personality, kindness and honesty impressed me a lot." On asking Abhishek, what was your impression about her, he says, "Leena was the same as she had mentioned in her bio on BharatMatrimony. Talkative and a straightforward person, which I like most about her. In the first meet itself, we both felt that we had connected very well. But we felt we should take some more time to understand each other before proceeding further as it is a huge decision. We spoke a lot over the phone for the next 2 months. Our conversations used to go on late nights for hours together. We also met up a few more times after that."

I ask Abhishek one advice for people who are looking to get married? “Marriage is a beautiful relationship. Never take decisions in a hurry. Only if you’re sure about the person go ahead. Marriage is not only about two people coming together, it’s also about two families. Be the person you are and let the other person like the real you.”
