After 3 long years of searching for my soul mate, I'm now married and all thanks to KERALAMATRIMONY.COM!!! Being born and brought in Dubai I always wanted to marry someone from here or anywhere other than my native place. I used to dread days when my dad used to take out his diary and start calling people for proposals. Work was my only place away from home where I could find some peace. This sort of a scenario continued for almost 3 years. I have seen so many guys and still haven't been able to decide. My parents used to get frustrated with me. All that time there's just one thing I told them when my heart says 'YES' to a man that will be the guy I marry and definitely he doesn't have to be the best!!!! On the 22nd of May I received a mail from Pavan's parents and after my family read it dad replied to the mail. On the 23rd they got back to us saying that they were interested and would like to proceed further. Spoke to my dad over the phone and arranged with Pavan to come see me. For some reason I was quiet eager to see this guy. I was early from work that day and I was all ready to see the next man who I might reject. Dad said he would be home by 7.30 but he was almost half an hour late and by then I had already decided it was a NO!!!! Anyways he came and dad bored the poor chap with all our family details and things for almost 45 minutes and I was inside my bedroom falling asleep. When finally mum came and called me. I quickly fixed myself and stepped out of my room. As he saw me he stood up and that really took my heart. I was more than impressed. (He is the only guy who ever did something like that). I was shy and didn't speak much for around 15 minutes and then dad asked if he would like to speak to me he was ever ready and for the first time I didn't say NO!!! We spoke to each other for almost an hour. It was only then that I found out that he worked just 5 minutes away from my office. The only question that ran in my head was "Where in the world where you all this time". After almost 2 1/2 hours of being at my place he realized that he had to go home as well. The next day at work everyone thought that I was already married because of the huge million-dollar smile I was giving everyone. They knew it was a yes from my end and they we dying to know what his answer was. All of them forced me to call him but I was to shy and scared. So they decided to. My colleague introduced herself - told him that I wasn't working since morning and was only smiling and singing songs. She straightaway told him that I was totally bonkers over him and he told her that the feeling was mutual. I must say that it was a very expensive call because I had to treat all of my mates at work that day but it was definitely worth it. Ever since then we have been in touch. His parents came down to Dubai from Hyderabad and we got engaged on the 22nd of July. Our wedding was set for the 12th of September. I had always dreamt of a very big and beautiful wedding with lots of colors and people and everything. But everything that took place on the 12 of September was more than a dream. I must say it was definitely worth waiting for 3 years. I have realized that a perfect or handsome looking man isn't everything. But marrying someone who loves you and doing all the little things in life together makes a marriage all so beautiful and perfect. The fact that you understand, trust, love and compromise with each other is the only key to a successful marriage.
